UFSPC hosts the Thompson Brothers Lacross Program and provides throwing analysis data for its athletes.

The UF Sports Performance Center proudly hosted the Thompson Brothers Lacrosse Program on August 12, 2014. Miles, Lyle, Jeremy and Jerome Thompson, Bill O’Brien and Hunter Hemlock all participated in lacrosse throwing analysis and other measures to help the scientists better understand the mechanics of this growing sport.  Players represented national, professional and collegiate lacrosse programs (Rochester Rattlers, Iroquois Nationals, Albany Great Danes).

The first-of-its-kind event was kindly coordinated through the Florida Generals Lacrosse program (Coach J Montes), and several staff and faculty were present capturing each athlete’s measurements (Drs. Heather and Kevin Vincent, Amanda Seay, Laura-Ann Zdziarksi, and Cong Chen).
