Dr. Heather Vincent presents at Innovations Conference

“Dr. Heather Vincent partnered with Dr. Angelina Bernier and were selected to present at the Primary Care Innovations Conference: Building a Community of Innovators hosted by UF on April 16, 2021. They have built the first collaborative Mini-Fitness Clinic in the College of Medicine through the Department of Pediatrics and Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. The presentation was titled, “Fitness Mini-clinic Addresses Physical Wellness and Future Disease Risk Among Children with Metabolic Disease and Obesity” and focused on the methods and rationale for development and implementation, initial clinic data and templates for materials for other providers interested in starting a clinic.”
