Five UF medical students completed their Summer 2026 Medical Student Research Program (MSRP) in the PM&R Department, working with Research Division team members, faculty, and residents. The MSRP is a 10-week summer research experience for first-year medical students at the UF College of Medicine. Each PM&R MSRP student worked on an individual research project. They also took part in weekly scholarship discussions, attended research presentations locally and through the NIH, participated in didactics, and shadowed clinical faculty in the program. On August 12th, they presented a summary of their summer MSRP experience to their peers and to PM&R residents, faculty, and team members at the MSRP Showcase and celebration lunch. They will present findings from their research projects to a larger audience at the College of Medicine Research Day in February 2027.
