Yvette E Little, D.O.
Clinical Assistant Professor
About Yvette E Little
My name is Yvette Little, D.O. and I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in the University of Florida Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I earned my Bachelor of Health Science and Rehabilitative Services Degree from the University of Florida. Following my undergraduate degree, I earned my medical degree in osteopathic medicine from Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Alabama. I then completed my residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida.
Prior to my career as a Physician, I worked as a massage therapist for 14 years with a focus on patients who had musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. The experience I received as a massage therapist and the education I received from my Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Rehabilitative services led me to desire a career in Physiatry where I can help patients restore optimum function of their body in the most profound way.
As a Physiatrist, my goal is to help patients regain their physical function and quality of life after enduring an illness, injury or disability. I work with a multidisciplinary team to provide the most comprehensive care to patients so that they can have a successful recovery process. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my husband, three children and dog. We love the spending time outdoors and watching soccer.
