My name is Yevgeny Zadov. I grew up in Brooklyn NY and attended the New York Institute of Technology for both my undergraduate education and medical school. While in medical school, I came across a great field of medicine… Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. After my residency in Long Beach, New York, I went on to do a Traumatic Brain Injury and Polytrauma fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Prior to starting work at UF, I worked in the private practice environment as well as an affiliate of large hospital systems. I became interested in the logistics and human aspects of how hospitals and other healthcare companies provide the care they do. I received my Masters in Healthcare Administration from Kings College and have used that to partner with institutions and systems to optimize patient health and care throughout my career. I am currently the Medical Director of UFRehab Hospital where I oversee the care of patients with medically complex debility, amputees, brain injuries , strokes, and a host of other neurological injuries. My main focus is not necessarily the injury that got a patient into my care, but rather the functional ability of the patient and the big picture, how to get them to function at the highest level of which they are capable. My goal as your doctor is to help you get where you want to be, and to look for ways that we can make getting there possible. In my spare time, my hobbies include Brazilian jujitsu and other forms of combat sports.
