Virtual Physical Therapy for Runners After Gait Analysis for Injury

Interested in joining a research study to support injured runners?

The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Florida is sponsoring a study on the impact of short-term virtual physical therapy support for runners after gait analysis.

Who are we looking for?

  • Adults aged 18–65 years
  • Running at least 12 miles per week before pain developed
  • No surgical history to either lower limb
  • No major fracture to lower limb within the past 12 months
  • BMI < 35 kg/m²
  • Scheduled for a Running Analysis to identify pain-related biomechanical issues
  • Willing to forgo in-person therapy for 1 month after enrollment

What is involved?

This study will compare outcomes between runners who receive virtual PT support and those who do not, after gait analysis.
